Anna Meredith qualified from the University of Cambridge in Veterinary Medicine in 1999 after a first degree in Physiological Sciences  from the University of Oxford. After a year in general practice Anna Meredith joined R(D)SVS as a lecturer in exotic animal and wildlife medicine in 1992 and have over 20 years experience as a clinician working with exotic animals and wildlife. She established and lead the Exotic Animal and Wildlife Service and was head veterinary surgeon for the Royal Zoologial Society of Scotland’s Edinburgh Zoo (1992-2009). Anna Meredith is a RCVS and European Recognisied Specilaist in Zoo and Wildlief Medicine and my focus now is on wildlife and conservation medicine. She is also Director of Postgraduate Taught programmes at the Easter Bush Campus and am Programme Director for the MVetSci in Conservation Medicine
