Thomas Clasen, an epidemiologist, is Professor of Environmental Health and Rose Salamone Gangarosa Chair of Sanitation and Safe Water at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University and Professor of Water, Sanitation and Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. His research focuses on evaluations of water, sanitation and household air pollution interventions in low-income settings. Prof. Clasen holds an MSc (Control of Infectious Diseases) and PhD from the University of London; he also holds a Juris Doctor (Law) from Georgetown University.
